Did you know that Al Capone was incarcerated for Tax Evasion and died of syphilis.

The QWERTY keyboard was laid out specifically to slow typists down. The early machines were rough and they jammed and failed frequently when you typed fast on them.

Since most people are right handed the most frequently used letters were assigned to the left hand. When Samuel Morse developed the Mores Code the exact opposite occurred. The most frequently used letters are the simplest to send. If you note the code below "E" is a dot. "T" is a dash. The first and second most commonly used letters. Then "A", "N" and so forth. Note how many of the easily transmitted letters are found on the left side of the keyboard.

WD-40 was developed as a Water Displacement formula for preserving rocket motor parts in Southern California. The number "40" relates to the first successful formula. I.E. There were only 39 failures on the road to this success.

President Harry S. Truman had no middle name, only the initial.

Joe Friday's badge number on Dragnet was 714. It was a real LA police badge. A real cop brought them to the set when needed, stayed with them while they were being used and retrieved them after shooting.

John Wayne carried his own personal Colt in many of his western movies and all of the later ones.

I love this stuff, trivia is so cool...

A big star for you my friend.
