Humber College culinary management students Bridget Hicks and Shayne Corrigan celebrated chocolate and ice-wine at “Decadence,” a two-day student pastry competition.
The competition, Canada’s only student pastry event, took place on February 19 at Niagara College.
With the Culinary Management diploma program students acquire up-to-date skills in food preparation and presentation through classroom learning, hands-on work in the on-campus culinary labs, the opportunity to train in our on-campus real fine-dining restaurant environment and the opportunity to take part in competitions such as Decadence.

Coming in first for the best use of chocolate and for the best hot dessert, Hicks and Corrigan were very happy with their performance.
